Can I change my plan at any time?
Yes. Message Nella on WhatsApp to upgrade or downgrade. A paid plan starts when payment is confirmed; the new limits apply from then.
What happens when I reach a daily or monthly limit?
Nella lets you know as you approach a limit. Once you reach it, that feature pauses until the limit resets — daily limits at midnight, monthly limits on the first of the month — or until you upgrade.
Do yearly plans renew automatically?
Yearly billing is available on Plus and Exclusive. Renewal terms, reminders and cancellation options are shown before you confirm payment.
Are transfer fees included in my plan?
Transfers are pay-as-you-go on every plan. The exact fee, plus any government charge, is shown in full before you approve — you never pay a cent you have not seen first.
Is funding my wallet free?
Every charge is shown in full before you approve it. There are no surprise fees, no hidden markups and nothing is taken after the fact.
Is my verification tier the same as my plan?
No. Your plan sets usage limits and perks. Your verification tier (NIN, BVN or full KYC) sets balance and single-transfer limits.
Is onboarding free?
Yes. NIN/BVN verification and account creation cost you nothing — Nella absorbs all onboarding charges.
What about government charges?
Some transfers attract a federal stamp duty. It is a government charge, not a Nella fee, and it is shown on the confirmation you approve before anything moves. Receipts keep things simple and show the amount you sent.
